Sharp Energy was notified yesterday that propane was smelled outside near where the under ground tank was located. 2 Sharp trucks responded and the ground area was tested only to find that there was a leak and I was reassured that all was safe and that we would need to have the leaking tank replaced but we could still use the stove to cook with that night. Today. A tanker showed up the propane gas was pumped from under ground tank into the tanker. A temporary tank was set up next to our house where the gauge was. Leading into the house and John Woods went kept me updated on what was happening and checked the cooking stove in my kitchen to make sure everything was working. He answered all of my questions and was truly professional and explained that we would get at least a weeks notice when the tank would be dug up. I am very pleased with Sharp Energy and how fast their response time was and the politeness and professional team that was sent. I am only annoyed at the fact that I had to fill out four pages of paperwork, and having just movered and being self employed I didn’t get to it and there was a threat of my gas being turned off! What an antiquated process! Every other utility that I had to sign up for including water, electric, and Internet Didn’t require me to do anything like this. In fact, I just spoke with someone over the phone. They took my information and I was done. Sharp required this documentation and physical signature on two of the 4 documents. I mean cmon!

We get very busy at our restaurant. all day long salesman come in and try to sell us everything. A gentleman came in ordered lunch sat down and ate. I thought he was a customer. After a short while I assume when it slowed down he came and introduced him self as Greg. He said I notice you use propane and if I could save you money on your costs would you be interested in talking when you have some free time. No hi pressure sales. Recently, I had Sharp install a propane tank, run a line to my new gas stove, and install a quick disconnect on the back of the house for my propane grill.
